^ while this is acceptable to some people, others it isn't.
Just like those who don't use items after the sell by / best before, hell even the use by date!

I however am not one of those people. In fact I have some sauce mix in my cupboard that went out of date (BB) many months ago.
I still plan to use it.

My husband usually cooks the lot, has half and then puts the rest in the fridge to be warmed up the next day or day after. I don't think I would refreeze..

Once they're cooked, it's ok to refreeze them.

Yes, I'd be very wary of defrosting them and then refreezing but once cooked it's ok to refreeze. :)

You used to be able to buy them in boxes of two, up until a month or so ago.
I don't usually buy them myself but I shop for my Mother who lives alone. They seem to have disappeared off the shelves.

I used to buy them for my late OH I can't abide them myself but he loved them I only would buy 2 at a time then though. maybe its because its not economical to box them up at 2 at a time anymore
