Thank you ladies, sorry to hear you've not been well either girl. It's horrible being ill
I don't usually post / stay awake to this time, but just spent approx two hours on that online webchat to O2 to cancel my contract. Omg what a load of tosh that was, every time I get connected and they forward me to the next person and I explain why I'm cancelling, they just end the chat, obviously they know they can't get another contract out of me. What an absolute waste of time!!!June 13' - £4139.72

Finally cancelled my contract, it took me 1 hour and 15 mins on hold, thank god for the speaker function!
I rang scottish power with meter updates and they want to change my direct debit from £110 to £170, I'm in shock tbh that's from April and there is no way we have used that much in my eyes, they say its the gas and probably the cold spell.
Boo to thatJune 13' - £4139.72

I'm having a bit of a down day today, my online bank is telling me that scottish power are indeed taking the larger amount out tomorrow
it leaves me with about £7 in my bank for the week until Friday. Luckily my partner has some money and will be giving me £50 for food and day to day bits.
I just feel like recently everything is being swallowed up and everything is so expensive, I'm dreading Christmas already even though I have budgeted for it, it just feels continuos. I will have a bit more leeway next few weeks but plan on shoving that to the credit card.
Plan for tonight is to ebay some things - 5 things!!June 13' - £4139.72

Don't get disheartened Florida. Peaks and troughs. This is just a lower moment after the high you have had getting the diary started. The mood will rise again.
I am also with ScottishPower. I send them my meter readings once a week. I thought they were ripping me off so I keep a VERY close eye on what we use now. I feel far more in control. I still feel a bit ripped off but I think that is quite standard across the board rather than just ScottishPower.
Try not to shove too much onto the credit card. Try to use the leeway to your advantage, not to make things worse.

Yes, just when we start to think we are in control, life jumps up to bite us on the backside
A simlar thing has happened here, our old fixed rate energy plan has finished and the best new one is going to mean a 50% increase in our monthly DDThen the water bill comes.... we've used no more water but the bill is 17% higher than usual
But some things are beyond our control. We need to accept those things we can't change, move on, and concentrate on the positive changes we can make that will benefit us and our families.
Well done for getting your mobile contract cancelled and for listing your ebay items, hope that turns out to be profitable for you2.22kWp Solar PV system installed Oct 2010, Fronius IG20 Inverter, south facing (-5 deg), 30 degree pitch, no shadingEverything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endMFW #4 OPs: 2018 £866.89, 2019 £1322.33, 2020 £1337.07

Thanks guys for your positive input x
Cannot sleep for the life of me, it's so humid. I remember when it was snowing I said if we do get get some sun this year I won't moan and lol look what I am doing!
£20 in sales frm one buy it now and two are selling and the other two have watchers. My oldest went for a sleepover last night at her aunts so had a good clear out and found some old toys that can be ebayed but I will do that when she's at school. Feel a lot more positive about getting this debt down.
Another sad thing I have done recently is done the Christmas gift lists, I know what I am buying and exactly how it's going to be paid for so feel a lot better about this as well currently watching some items on amazon as the prices fluctuate and I have prices in mind about how much I want to pay for it so if it ever hits that mark I will buy it. Decided not to go ott like I do as they never play with it, the items I have chosen this year I know the oldest will use every single dayJune 13' - £4139.72

This is not going to be a positive update.
I am absolutely seething, we left our car with the garage over night so they could do some repairs. Some little tosspots have broken in and trashed the garage and took our car!
I don't know what to do now, I know it's not the garages fault some people are beyond comprehension!!!! And that is putting it politely!June 13' - £4139.72

The car has been found it was abandoned, they haven't found who was responsible yet, so relieved!!
I managed to make £70 after fees and postage from my ebay sales, it's given me the selling bug now so will keep at itJune 13' - £4139.72
