Thanks jackie, I did feel a bit bad for not putting the whole amount to the credit card but like you said I would have had to find the money for uniform ect elsewhere and it was already there :)

It does feel good, I think my DFD is August 14, but this will keep going down as I still have some more payments I want to make this month. I keep using that snowball calculator to make myself feel better.

Thank you my daughter does seem better its always in the morning, both the girls suffer from eczema so maybe asthma is interlinked or to be expected x

Florida - are you going to fix your signature so that you can see the balance getting lower? eg. Keep the June '13 - £4139.72 and put underneath "now - £3289.72" or something like that. That way you can see at a glance how good it is looking. You are now only £289.73 away from having a balance that starts with £2xxx! How cool is that??!! Go you!

I have now updated my sig especially for you girl :p

Total now is £3135, made a small £5 over payment, I need to make another £236 to reach my target by the end of June. Luckily my partner gets paid soon so he will give me a £100 towards the target and I have been selling some things in fb which will help me get there quicker.

I went to Asda this morning and got some things that were yellow stickered, I always thought the best time to go was in the evening, but there was so much more choice this morning, got some pork chops and a joint which have both been put in the freezer.

Lol so this afternoon I have rummaged around the house to find change for my daughters tuck money , it's £2.50 a week and so far managed two lots and £1.05 I'm pretty sure I can get the rest if I raid the car lol. I don't think the teacher will be best pleased, oh well needs must lol.

My account is looking quite healthy but I'm waiting for the weekend to finish so any transactions can clear and then decide on any overpayments.

I took my oldest to see despicable me two today, omg what a brilliant film so funny, my daughter couldn't stop laughing she enjoyed it that much. Must see for anyone :)

  • It's been a few days since I've posted , the whole family's been poorly, first it was my partner, then the baby and then me, whilst the whole time the oldest has constantly been trying to stop herself from being sick and gagging. I still feel really rough but not as bad as yesterday thankfully.

It was payday last night, and have paid another £100 to the credit card so balance £3035 now. Holding back on paying any extra this month for the time being as my partner wants to put the car in as it feels squeaky on the brakes and the reverse light has gone. I'm really hoping its not too much, but the only positive is that we can/ have the money available to pay for its just means beng a bit more tighter with other things.

Sorry to hear you've had a rough week.
Hopefully car won't be too costly, but safety is the most important thing :)

Carwise, you are definitely in the right frame of mind, having the money available to pay for it and being tighter with other things. That works for me :)

Sorry to hear you have all not been well. I haven't been well either, likely viral illness the doc said. Luckily it is only me who has had it in my family. Hope you are all much better soon.
