Which electric company to use

Hi, i have just purchased a semi and wondered if anyone had any thoughts on which electricity supplier to go with......i have never had an account before so don't really have any idea.....i am on dla benefits and jsa benefit so was sort of hoping for one which may give grants etc for insulation/boiler/windows costs...... your thoughts and ideas would be greatly appreciated....;)

    You are in a deemed contract with the existing supplier from day one. You can't commence a switch until you have registered with them and submitted opening readings. Then just use any comp site with your estimated annual kWh readings.
    No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
