Grrr sellers that dont post when they say!

Sorry bit of a rant really, but ive purchased 3 items last couple of weeks (well actually more than that but the others are all good and have arrived perfectly!)

one of which was supposed to be here by sat/mon, private seller, 4days dispatch time, still no sign, been sent recorded but tracking just states 'progressing through network!'

One that was supposed to be here yesterday or today, did not arrive this morning, so obviously going to be late, business seller, 2 day dispatch, still not marked as dispatched so emailed and got no reply!

And one that i received on time but is the wrong colour, business seller, messaged, asked to send photo so i did, now no reply!!

All three are needed for a wedding im attending on thursday and will be utterly useless to me after! Purchased all in good time but why do sellers say they will post in x days if they dont?!

And why would a business seller ask for a photo and then completely ignore that i sent one!!

Some sellers suck, but personally I wouldn't be shopping on eBay sellers, especially ones with 4 day dispatch just a few days prior to a wedding. Get yourself down the high street.

But that is my point, i didnt just order woth a few das to go, this was in the last couple of weeks, from about 24th may, and had i been able to get what i was after on the high street i would have, but unfortunately we have a rather small town that is slowly dying except for £shops and the like.

So was it posted within 4 working days?

I've been at the dentist this morning and haven't replied to any emails yet (having my lunch break now), give them time to reply (24 hours at least) and if not you can open a case.

How long have you waited for a reply? If longer than 24 hours then open a case.

Might be worth checking your delivery office to see if delivery has been attempted. They should leave a card but often don't or it gets thrown with junk mail. Parcels may be sitting on a shelf at the DO waiting for you to collect them.

Well the fact i dont drive (yet) and i have a 7 month old to tow around getting to a larger town is really not worth it, after all ebay is usually very reliable, good prices and i get things delivered to my door, not much else i could ask for.

The private seller posted on the 5th working day after payment, so they were late, i would have thought a 4 day dispatch time would be plenty!

The two business sellers, i left them 48 hours after messaging them before posting here, this morning i opened cases as i still hadnt heard back.
One seller has now responded (not sure why they didnt bother before i opened the case!) but they were not particularly helpful.
