Had 4 calls to dwp recently and have always had polite friendliness from them. I always use their name in the conversation and thank them for their help.

So no, not a new tactic I'd say.

Never had a problem, very polite.
  • Maybe it is because of your rudeness and attitude problem.
  • I have found that 90% of the people I have spoken to are helpful and polite. But like the others always the odd rude individual. I find that by being extra nice it just makes them sounds more idiotic :p
Its all mind over matter. I don't mind and you don't matter:rotfl:

I've never had a problem with the manners or attitude of DWP staff. Mind you, I am always polite myself, and you reap what you sow. OP, have you considered that maybe your own attitude leaves a lot to be desired?

I have never had an issue with the attitude of DWP staff.
    Their training, and competency, yes.
