Unwanted Stationery Donations

Does anyone know of any schemes currently running that will take unwanted stationery - just having a clear out and realised I could probably stock a small WH Smiths :rotfl:

A local community group, charity, or Guiding group might welcome a donation of stationery. I help to run a community group for disabled children and their siblings, and the committee usually pay for stationery out of their own pockets, as getting funding for running costs can be difficult - so you could be saving a local group quite a bit of money. The same with Guiding groups - my Rainbows and Brownies units use stationery, which we buy from subs. Donations are always welcome.

Your local library should have a list of local groups or charities.
  • I'm not exactly a charitable group haha, but I'll take it lol- got a degree to pay for!
Jokes aside, try maybe a charity shop, community centre or maybe religious groups?

  • Can you name any charity groups that may help me to donate.

Hi, I am helping set up a new charity that helps street and slum children in India. Stationary Items are always good, I don't think I am able to add links yet (as I don't have enough posts) but will just check

    Other Items For Charity

Basically they want anything that would be useful/good for children.

Just so you know it's new and hasn't raised enough to be registered with the charity Commission (they need a minimum of £5000) but I can assure yu that the items get directly to the children.

Probably a bit late now, here's a webpage which lists a few orgs that are accepting, amongst other things, stationery:
