Hi,
I am looking to replace my desktop and wondered what people thought of this one.
Here is the main specs:
Processor type: AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 processor 3800+
Operating system installed: Genuine Windows Vista™ Home Premium Platform
With AMD Live!™ Chipset - NVIDIA® GeForce™ 6150LE Chipset
Standard memory: 1 GB
Memory type: DDR2-SDRAM
Memory slots: 2 DIMM sockets
Internal hard disk drive: 320 GB
Hard disk controller: SATA Hard Disk Drive
Hard disk drive speed (7200 rpm)
DVD RAM and Double Layer ±R/ ±RW 16x/8x max supporting LightScribe technology
System features
Video adapter: NVIDIA® GeForce™ 7500 LE TurboCache with PureVideo technology
Video RAM: 256 MB dedicated video memory
Internal audio: High Definition Audio 7.1
It is on the site for £399, but you can get £40 off when you sign up to their newsletter and delivery would only be £4.99 + VAT, I plan to get this monitor from Play.com for £89.99. Giving a total cost of about £450.
Just want to know if this is good value for money.
Cheers

The value would depend on the components install / software supplied if its a dell system. I would not recommend it as they use there own motherboard sort of expensive to replace. hard drive would need to be above 160g put up a link
thanks for the link

TheOneSteeltips, Do you think this is good value?
The processor is dual core, isn't it?
Also, is the graphics card any good (eg. would it be able to run two year old pc games at a decent quality)?0 -
