Hi
Just wondering if anyone can please help. My daughter applied for local part time job yesterday and another job has now become available at a different Mcdonalds a few miles away. We have looked on the website and even though she is registered and it took 30 mins to input her appliction yesterday it seems she has to start the process again. Can anyone who may have registered please tell us if there is any way we can get her info to this new application without having to start all over again?
Many thanks

A lot of companies make you fill in forms for EVERY job you apply for - that's the way it isWe’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Hi, thanks for replying.
We did ring McDonalds and ask and it seems she should have saved the application yesterday. So she has just input it all again...watching out for the saved button at the end...and guess what? there isn`t one!! but at least we know for the future.0 -
Lets hope she don't have tokaties_mum wrote: »Hi, thanks for replying.

If there is no save button try Ctrl+S to save the page/document, hopefully that will work.0

Didn`t know that SGina, thanks.
These are just two part time roles for summer holidays and hopefully some hours whilst at 6th form college...fingers crossed.0 -
holiday jobs can often lead to something more permanant.
many years ago when i was 16, i got a summer job at mcdonalds, and ended up staying for a year while i was in 6th form.
obviously it depends on the staff situation at the end of the holidays0 -
She has just had 2 emails to say too many applied and she hasn`t been successful! shame as her boyfriend has got an interview.
Suppose it could have been her answers to the questions! but never mind I`m sure something will crop up.0 -
Just wanted to update this, my daughter received an email this morning offering her an interview on Sunday so she is delighted (not sure why she was rejected yesterday for the same role).
Fingers crossed.0 -
Maybe they had the ones who got through turn the interview down either way its to her advantage and that's all that matterskaties_mum wrote: »Just wanted to update this, my daughter received an email this morning offering her an interview on Sunday so she is delighted (not sure why she was rejected yesterday for the same role).

Thank you. If she gets a job it would be so ideal as its 10 mins walk from home. She can be a little shy sometimes so hope this doesn`t go against her.0
