Harveys - and not for the usual reasons

I'd read a lot of posts on here regarding Harveys rubbish service, but given that they were the only place I could find selling a sofa in the style I wanted (high back and a seat not too close to the ground). I didn't want to wait for ages to be able to sit down, and bought one.
Service was actually pretty great (in comparison with what I'd read). They even sent someone out very quickly to look at an issue with the reclining motion.
So why am I venting? Because the sofa I now have is SO uncomfortable.
I just wanted something my feet could touch the floor from, with a seat that was horizontally level and didn't make it didfficult to get out of.
The front part of the seat (under-knee area) is over-padded while the back part uses a tiny bit of cushioning over springs, which means my seat is lower down and I have to lean forwards to maintain a straight back.
I tried the sofa in the shop and it was nowhere near this uncomfortable. I expect they would say the one in-store had been used many times and consequently would feel different.. which I suppose is fair enough, if not a really bad sign. Wouldn't you expect a new sofa to be more comfortable than a battered store demo? I did. It isn't.
