Canada Square Gardens?? Are they real?

Hi I have had a letter through today from a company called Canada square Gardens. They say on the letter that they are the company formally known as Egg.

I am slightly confused as they have written to me in regards to my loan I had with Egg years and years ago and they have written,

This is not a circular....

Our records show that you purchased a type of PPI...... we have identified certain problems with the sale of our PPI policies which may mean we have mis sold you a policy.

They then go on say that we may not have made it clear that it was optional and I didnt give my agreement to it.

The reason I never claimed on this loan in because I was pretty certain I never took it being a money saver at the time, if it is on the account I was definatley mis-sold I didnt even know I had it.

Anyway my point is, should I fill out their paper work? They have my account number on there?

Thanks,

:)

    Yes, they are real.

They are there to continue to administer the old accounts as the Egg brand itself and all live accounts were sold to Barclaycard. There are a number of admin functions that they perform such as servicing older accounts and debts, and they perform certain regulatory functions that banks are compelled to do.

All correspondence should be directed to them, so if you need to perform a SAR, make a PPI complaint, they are the people to deal with.
