This seems a cheap way to get boiler insurance, thoughts?
An emergency call to unblock the loo, fix the boiler or get the central heating working could leave a nasty dent in your wallet, so it's better to be prepared.
With Home Assistance cover you get free advice, access to a network of approved contractors and cover for emergency plumbing, drainage, heating, electrical and roofing repairs.
Home Assistance provides up to £1,000 of cover for emergency repairs.

I would suggest reading the t&c's to see how this would cover you and what you would have to comply with, to ensure you had a valid claim if an emergency occured. My experience is that customers who purchase this type of cover can be a little frustrated when they need help. Check for any online reviews. The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.0 -

Check the definition of 'emergency' and compare it to what boiler insurance covers.0
