what you are trying to convince yourself of? you talk about before going BR and opening a bank account, and that you will be undischarged by the time the account is open  sorry you're just wrong, it's a max of 12 months to be undischarged or slightly less if you are one of the lucky few who gets an early discharge, but either way it's months, opening a bank account takes days,
Excuse my ignorance, But I was always under the impression that one commenced being an Undischarged Bankrupt the instant the Judge stamped the Petition?
Therefore, from that point on, one was Undischarged, until one either received ED or AD?
It takes days to open a bank account.
It may take even less to become an Undischarged BR?
Much will depend on the amount of time between an application for the account, and being granted a BR petition [ie, becoming Undischarged at that instant?
Nothing whatsoever about how long one remains undischarged.
Purely about the point at which one becomes an undischarged BR?
And that point occurs precisely at the time the Judge grants the petition.
Not before, not after.
Or, are you under the impression one petitions BR, has the petition granted, then at some point later, one becomes an Undischarged BR?
Which, certainly wasn't the case in my experience! No, I don't think all other drivers are idiots......but some are determined to change my mind.......0 -

!
Discharge takes around 12 months, it is the time given for the OR to look into your case and for the creditors to make a claim on your BR estate, timed from the judge stamping your BR form to your discharge, as said it is normally 12 months, if the OR is not busy and gets everything sorted a couple of months earlier then an early discharge is sometimes given but they are rare.0 -
This is getting really silly Sniggings I think you make a typing error ( sorry I have not a clue how to post the quote!)
....its a maximum of 12 months to be Undischarged..........you meant discharged, that got us all confused. Hope thats cleared that up x0 -

Yes, I agree...quite right.
However, as I said, until discharge, one is undischarged....and this commences from the time the petition is granted. No, I don't think all other drivers are idiots......but some are determined to change my mind.......0 -

no it is a max of 12 months to be undischarged, meaning you are classed as undischarged for around 12 months, I didn't start the confusion, only tried to clear it up, it has now been cleared up but you choose to get involved by saying it's now silly yet adding to the sillyness...it was the miss understanding of how long you are classed as undischarged...now you are adding to the confusion.
I think we all now know the situation so lets move on.0 -
I am sorry to but in I was trying to help, again apologies.0

what I was trying to say was.....if an account is applied for, then , BR is petitioned very soon afterwards, perhaps when the credit check is conducted, the Undischarged BR could show? No, I don't think all other drivers are idiots......but some are determined to change my mind.......0
