RBS Graduate Account Application

I've just finished a 6 year medical degree and am due to graduate next week. I have also accepted a job offer to work as a junior doctor starting in August. Due to being at Uni for so long I have a £1200 student account overdraft and am requiring some money prior to receiving my first paycheque at the end of August.
I thought the RBS graduate account seemed to fit the bill with a £2000 overdraft which I would only require briefly before weaning myself off overdrafts entirely once in full time work. I'm in the middle of applying just now and they ask information about credit cards. I have 3 which are paid off in full each month so when asked for 'Balance' does that mean their current instantaneous balance (around £400) or what is left over at the end of each month i.e. zero? As such should I wait for a month to make sure they're all at £0 or just put £0 now?
Any help will be much appreciated!
