How to music from phone through bluetooth in Toyota Aygo?

I have a 2008 Toyota Aygo with Bluetooth and I was wondering whether it is possible to play music from my phone through Bluetooth and if so how?

Are the phone and the car (radio/entertainment system) set up as paired devices?

If so, what happens when you select Bluetooth as the sound source/input on the stereo and start playing music?

Thanks. Yes my phone (iPhone 3GS) is paired up with my car's bluetooth.

How would I go about selecting bluetooth as the sound source please?

I don't know specifically for this make and model but my last car, a new Focus, had a button on the console for each input eg "CD" "USB" etc, either look for one marked "Bluetooth" or a button marked "Aux" which may allow you to scroll or switch through the available input types.
