Next door neighbours garden

My next door neighbours back garden is very overgrown, and close to our garden there is a very large area of horsetail weeds. Naturally these weeds are now invading our garden and I cannot get rid of them, and I know I never will while they are growing unimpeded next door, the neighbour is not willing to do anything about her back garden. Houses privately owned.

Is there anything I can do or contact regarding this?

you could offer to help with the weeding, put down some strong weedkiller etc. I don't know of any dept or person that could enforce the neighbour to maintain her garden as you would wish.

I admit to weeding my neighbour's drive (little devils pop up between the brick pavers) just to stop the promiscuous dandelions spreading their seed over my way !

I use to be able to get lean over my fence so I would spray weed killer on my neighbour's side all along the fence.

I had to be careful not to spray it when the bees were out as though my neighbour has loads of weeds in their garden there are lots of bees and hoverflies in both ours.
