Hi,
Sorry if this has been asked before but I am thinking of moving to the first direct bank account to get the joining fee and the 6% saving account to put my extra cash as my ISA will be full soon.
I wanted to know what other people's feelings are about the setup?

Well done if you saved almost £5k in two months.
What's 'setup'?
You don't have to move everything. Keep your old account and move back if you are unhappy - and with another £100.0 -
thanks guys/girls!
how does the minimum of £1,000 per month to get the account for free work as if i open the 6% Reg Saver does this mean i get it for free?
also if i set up a direct debits for say the max £300 to the 6% Reg Saver does this count as one of the two you have to setup?
also does anyone know how long it takes before you get the £100?Age: 24 / London/Ireland / Salary €49,000 / 1 London BTL (8% yield) / Total savings pot £12k+

Slow down - - - several people advised you before several times that you should read, read and read , to get yourself equipped with information readily available. Instead you seem to just ask, ask, ask. You can do a lot better at 22.
No you will not get the current account for free if you have a Reg Saver. The Reg Saver is specifically excluded from the accounts that entitle you to a waiver for the £1K.how does the minimum of £1,000 per month to get the account for free work as if i open the 6% Reg Saver does this mean i get it for free?
You cannot set up the £300 DD for the Reg Saver yourself - FD do it for you. It also cannot count as one of the 2 required DDs (or SOs) since these need to be transferred by the FD Switcher Service.also if i set up a direct debits for say the max £300 to the 6% Reg Saver does this count as one of the two you have to setup?
Yes, some people do know. Plenty of posts about this already.also does anyone know how long it takes before you get the £100?
Please do yourself a favour and do some research (if only on the MSE forum) rather than just firing out questions --- you might actually get answers to questions you didn't even know you had.0
