London Hotel Duing Wimbledon

Hi everyone!
I'm stuck in a little bit of a dilemma. An absolute age ago I booked tickets for the Maroon 5 gig at O2. A week before they cancelled, I'd booked the train tickets and we fully intend on using them. I hadn't realised that it was start of Wimbledon!! I wanted to test the Top Secret Hotels out on lastminute.com but I keep checking prices of various hotels and they are going up and up. Does anyone have experience of booking a Top Secret Hotel during a major even like this? Do the rooms still come down cheaper or should I book a hotel now before prices increase?
Any advice appreciated, thank you

I doubt room prices would drop, not for Wimbledon, it happens every year so hoteliers will know what to charge.
Personally I wouldnt book a top secret either (if you can get one, would seem odd that some are discounting rates during their peak fortnight)
Try the Premier Inn at Beckton - it is at the end of the DLR but easy enough to get the train to O20
