Balance Transfer - Which Card?

Hello,

I have several outstanding debts to clear including my overdraft and two credit card debts totalling £2,200. The best way to clear this would be for me to transfer the debt but i have tried applying for both Virgin and Egg cards and have been refused. Which card can offer me the best balance transfer deal?

Firstly I would apply for your credit reports from Experian Exquifax & Callcredit (£2 each), no harm in asking egg & virgin why they turned you down, they might give you a general idea, but too many applications in a short time doesn't look good. Capital One seem fairly free with giving out credit, but you may first want to try and see if there is any obvious reason why you're getting refused. I assume you are on the electoral roll at your address, if not, get that sorted first.
