Hi everybody,
I am conducting a survey and to motivate the invited people to participate I want to give a prepaid credit card with GBP150 to a randomly chosen participant.
Which credit card would be the best choice? I don't want to winner to have any hidden fees, and I also don't want to have anything to do with it as soon as I have given it away.
Thanks in advance for your ideas.
Regards
Roman

I'm not an expert but I'm not sure that a prepaid credit card would work in this case as the card would need to be in the name of the person who opens the account and would also therefore be linked to their bank account.
Think a gift card or store vouchers would be a better idea as once they are bought then that is it... end of your association.Savings Target 2015 £10/£3000 :rotfl:0 -
Tesco sell prepaid visa debit gift cards, which I believe can be used instore, but they come in multiples of £25 or £50, with a £2.95 activation fee per card.
There is also the 3v prepaid gift card: https://www.3vprepaid.com/where-to-get.html
This doesn't have a fee, but can only be used online.
Tbh, it might be better just to offer a gift card for a certain shop (or advertise it for a certain shop, or a few choices, and give the winner a choice after they win).0 -
I tried to get around this whole voucher/gift card thing because I thought it would put some people off if they are not customers of this particular retailer.
So the prepaid credit cards are always bound to a name then huh?
There must be a solution :think:0 -
I think I will just go for a £150 Amazon voucher if the credit card option is too complicated. Thanks for your ideas anyway.0

You can buy £50 Amex cards in Superdrug, or £50 Visa cards in WHSmith. They're all on the gift card racks. No account needed. Winner uses them, then bins them.0
