No i have no intention of calling it Belfast International Airport.
It's not in Belfast and nowhere near it!
We're not stooping to Ryanair levels here!

Anyway please be advised that the very over-rated G8 summit is to be held on 17 and 18 June 2013. Which means complete chaos at the above airport over the next week or so.

On the bright side it'll be over before the real holiday chaos starts...

I've heard rumblings that the Fleg protests will look like a teddy bears picnic in comparison to what the G8 rent-a-mob could do in the city centre. Oh how much fun the next couple of weeks will be!

Aye but they've got rent-a-cop in too!

I wonder how many pubs will ban the swampies?

Have you looked at the distance of any of the London Airports from the centre of London?

The name Belfast is well known worldwide and therefore a good name in my opinion

One of my colleagues is flying to Tenerife on Friday. He thinks he won't be delayed too much, I think he is being optimistic! ;)

I live only 5 mins drive from the airport and this afternoon we were greeted with a flyover of 8 helicopters in convoy and then also saw a convoy of unmarked English registered police vans and 4x4's travelling through the outskirts of Antrim lights a-flashing;)
Diversion signs on lots of lamp posts about the town also.

Out catching the last of the summer sun this afternoon and 3 choppers flew over. First instinct was they weren't police or army. Ruddy things woke me out of my slumber they were that low
