I'd go for steamed smallish leeks, with the slices of ham rolled round them, laid in a dish and cheese sauce poured over them, then put in the oven to get all bubbly. Cheesey Leeks. mmm.A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.
Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels.

Thanks all.I only didn't want to use eggs cos my OH had scrambled eggs for his lunch, so we ended up with sweet n sour chicken (meat salvaged from the roast) and chips in the end!
Cheesey leeks with ham sound especially nice.
Had a sort of Spanish omelette tonight using most of the ham, a tiny bit of red pepper left that I didn't use last night, a large button mushroom. an onion and some cheese with a best before of 23/5/07. If I'm still around tomorrow I let you know :rotfl: . Oh and we had spicey wedges and peas with that.0 -
If you don't want to use it now, put it in the freezer. Cooked ham freezes well.0

This is something my kids really like - we call it rainbow rice.
Boil some rice, add fried onion, ham, peas sweetcorn and then sprinkle on pepper, or paprika - we use 'season all' and it is a really refreshing rice salad either on its own or as a side.0 -
Still here folks!! No ill effects :j0
