east midlands airport

hello,
just looking for some inside info,
my mum my 2 children and myself are travelling out of east midlands next saturday night flight times are horrid 11.55 departure so need to be their at 10 ish does anyone know will the shops and food area's be open.
been on the airport site and doesn't give times of opening so any advice would be great.

A couple of weeks ago i flew at 6:30am - the newsagent/bookshop was open as were the coffee shop and also the restaurant so i would imagine that they will still be open then.

No worries, they'll all be open long before 10 am.

Think Michelle is going to be "hanging around" at 10pm.

Should be open, but as you've found, the web site is a bit vague (to say the least)
"Is there somewhere to eat when there are early or late flights?
Yes, our food and drink outlets will be open during these times."

I've only ever flown early from EM - things start opening around 6am which is better than some airports. Would guess that at least the bar will be open - give 'em a bag of crisps and a lemonade... (or take some sarnies).
