It really does add insult to injury when you have to pay extra because the clinic you are attending is running late, which I gather was poor Butterfly's experience.:( Thankfully, here at MK we still have free parking for blue badge holders. For the time being.

I have to pay £6.40 a day to park at the hospital. The staff parking is 15 minutes walk away off site. I have to park on site because of I would be late either getting to work at the start of the day, or late picking up DS2 from after school club.

You pay full charge at the L&D whether you have a blue badge or not LW :(
Same with us in N.Ireland. But these people are only interested in one thing - money!

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Hope you start to feel better now Molly. Glad you were able to have the blood you need.

News from the Baby House in South Africa. Theres a bug going round and all of the babies have gone down with projectile vomiting and [STRIKE]dior [/STRIKE] bad guts.

Apparently one of the carers got sent home with it too. This all happened in the middle of an overnight power cut and they couldn't see what they were doing. The babies are drinking well thankfully but miserable and my daughter and her partner are wore out.

Rather them than me I have to say.

    Evening all!
Been reading but not posting, am in serious CBA and hate the world mode, its a major effort to get out of bed, got up early today at 11am:eek: Not helped by the sunshine which was draining me, ad the mum and MIL, who are exhausting me with their various moaning! Am sure they are actually ok, but just now everyone around me is driving me into a rage, oh joy!!!!!!
    RIP Iain
