Does this seller deserve a neg or neutrel?

Hi
I've just recieved a record from a seller,.
Although the delivery was quick, the recoed has a slight chip due to their inadequate packaging.
She just covered it with brown paper and put FRAGILE DO NOT BEND in large words.
Needless to say,the wrapping was ripped, the sleeve tore causing a slight chip on the record.
I emailed her to express my grieviance and she replied saying she had never had a complaint about her packaging and she had written 'do not bend' on the wrapping - like that's an oxymoron.
Howeve, she did say sorry (maybe because she's already left positive feedback for me)
So Peeps, what type of feedback should she receive?

Assuming there has been no offer of a refund.... A Neg, but one that addresses the facts.... i.e....
"Packaging Inadequate, Goods Received Damaged, No Refund Offered"
For me, comments that relate to poor packing will put me straight off a seller.

No,
tell the seller about the problem.
if they sort it out amicably, then leave a positive with a comment about poor packing
if its a little hassle, leave a neut
IF they refuse to do anything about it, threaten with a neg
if they still refuse, then Neg them and file a complaint with ebaymoney saving my @rse.
I've spent 10x as much as I would if I had never discovered this website :-)

It's the sellers responsibility to get the goods to you in the condition described in their sale and fit for purpose.
If they were delivered damaged, that's between the seller and their delivery company. If they continue to blame the post - it's for the seller to sort out not the buyer. The fact that they haven't had a complaint before is neither here nor there.
You should get a replacement or full refund - but give the seller the chance to rectify the situation first.
But don't leave it, you shouldn't have to accept something that was delivered damaged.
If they refuse to then file a complaint with eBay and claim your money back.
If paid for by credit card - you can use that route to get your money back.0 -
if they give you compensation or a refund on return including postage costs then neutral.
if they refuse then bad.
simple.

I'd run with EXACTLY what Tojo Ralph says.
If it arrived damaged and they won't do anything about it, then they deserve a neg.0 -

I'm still pondering whether to email her again after her gruff response.
I don't think it's down to Royal Mail.
After all if you pack your best dinner set in a box with no protective wrapping, you couldn't blame them if the china is broken in transit, could you?0 -
Yes, it's not down to the mail. Poor packaging of a delicate/fragile item is the sender's fault and they deserve a negative unless they fully compensate you.0

Couldn't agree more."It was not my intention to do this in front of you. For that, I'm sorry. But you can take my word for it, your mother had it comin'."
