EON have given bad credit rating on transfer to Co-op

On transferring to new supplier - Co-op, I was never given a final bill and therefore paid an amount to EON until I received a final bill. I never received a final bill! Only a solicitors letter and unknown to me at the time, bad credit reporting for every month that I was expecting and waiting and paying an amount for the final bill. Because Co-op did not send me the first bill until 3 months later - I have 3 missed payments on my credit history to EON. Can anyone tell me how I can sort this out please and get the bad credit removed - I have been paying each month - co-op say it is eon's fault and vice versa

well did eon issue a bill? If not you need to take it up with them, if they did and you didn't pay that's yours...need to expand

We need to establish why you didn't receive your final bill, did you have an online account with us?

If so you would have received an email to let you know when the final bill was ready to view online, this wouldn't have come through the post, just the reminders letters would have come through the post.

If not, have you contacted us to ask why you haven't had a bill?

I will be happy to have a look at your account for you and find out what's happened.
