£6.49 for an empty coffee jar, including postage ... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/330934378685?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649
Off hand I don't know how much the coffee is but it can't be that much ... is it?

Is the delivery charge more than the coffee?I don't post much, but when I do it's all good!! :beer:0

That is the cost of the delivery with Royal Mail, it's a large parcel.
He does combine post, so may pack with other stuff for the same price. That said if that was the post price, I would try to list with something else or just recycle it..0 -

The coffee is £6.59 at Tesco

To avoid getting on with what I ought to be doing, I investigated too. It's on special at Asda for £4.50
Just in case anyone on this section needs to know the price of coffee

Thanks Corelli thats my fav. coffee got the big 750g jar from costco when on offer - but nearly out.
Maybe I should put up my jar also?
Here's another one that I find bonkers but it could be just me....

I've noticed an increasing number of stupid people on my local searches. Items you'd throw in the bin (half used creams etc) are listed, items you'd send to the charity shop with ridiculous price tags. When they don't sell they keep relisting.
Might just be me but I'd rather clear out all the crap that will never sell in a month of Sundays and have a nice clutter free space rather than repeatedly list trash on eBay on the offchance it might sell for a quid.
The coffee jar seller is case in point. Why on earth do they think that anyone is going to pay £3.99 for a Happy Meal toy from last month?

Further gems from seller...

"Ideal keep sake tin". No, a keep sake tin is something that actually has some form of advertising on it. This is an empty sweet tin you cant be arsed to take down to the tip.
Or how about £3.99 for the FREE glasses case given to you in Asda then?

I have a matching set of asda peanut butter jars - very rare now they've replaced them with plastic ones.
I'm going to watch this and see if anyone buys.
BTW the correct postage for the item is probably £2.60 - less than 6inch cube/less than 1kg.0 -
Good heavens! I did swear I wasn't going to keep looking at this but I had a look at their feedback and apparantly they sold one! Mind you, the postage was only £2.50 then.
About halfway down page 2 of the feedback page, in case anyone else is as sad as me.
ETA I got as far as page 5 and found another three they had sold. Hmmm no more recycling of glass jars for me
