Hi sorry if I am posting in the wrong section.
I am trying to transfer from Clydesdale bank to royal bank of Scotland using a long established payment details from my payee list.I tried today and was refused,wrong sort code account number.I looked at the payees details and they were correct and got this message when I tried to make a payment.
Error 207001: Sortcode and/or Account No. entered is not valid. Please check the details and re-enter
any ideas whats wrong?

The problem could be anything - you'll have to call them
Their internet banking is awful and a relic from the 90s.
