DD3 took a few things and put on eblay over the weekend hopefully that will make her some pennies

What is the best way to remove blood stains from light grey tracksuits?
OH hit his knee with an axe on Friday night when he was getting some firewood for camping. He ended up with 5 stitches and tracksuit bottoms covered in blood.
Ouch - hope OH is okay. Mum always soaked things in cold water salt baths too. Another tip - "reverse" the stain out under a cold tap. In other words, don't try and wash the stain as it just pushes it further into the fabric - send it back the way it came in.
Hugs to you froddington - been there and it's hard.
Hope the case turns up soon mumto5 - it seems to have taken an age
I'm in again Natty - thanks for the lists - my lounge and hall are desperate for some TLC as I've spent all this lovely weather outdoors. It's very overcast today so will continue with a bit more garden stuff as well as following the list.

Morning!
I am WFH today, so will get an hour to fly at lunchtime! Overcast here, but hoping the sun will work its way through later, again.
Wishing you all a productive, positive week!

Thanks mrs-moneypenny and trulymadlydeeply_indebt, he's just very sore. Tracksuits now in the wash so fingers crossed the stain comes out and I can sew them later.
DW on and second load ready to go in. More washing out on the line, gonna be another beautiful day here so plan is to have all washing done before the rain comes tomorrow.
Right best get DS3 changed and then i'll crack on with the livingroom. Then once he's away to playschool I can go get paint, must get 2 new handles for DD's door and hall door. DD's had been stiff for awhile so thought it best to remove before she gets stuck in her room. Hall door decided to not open on Saturday so handle had to be took off.
Hoping to get the undercoat on the front hall skirting tonight then gloss tomorrow. Really want my filing cabinet back in, so disorganised with out it... That's my reason anyway :rotfl:“Life is short, live it. Love is rare, grab it. Anger is bad, dump it. Fear is awful, face it. Memories are sweet, cherish it.”0 -
Intense levels of pain today.. coupled with rather painful BH's.. I think I am going to pop... helped of course by Dot wanting to leap all over me again.. she seems to know when I hurt most and turn up the naughty level.
Tiddles on a trip today if she bothered getting herself into school on time to go.. DD3 was late having 'lost' her glasses.. though DS3 was on time for a change
Binday tomorrow so I am trotting out filling up the bins all the way up the street.. loading binbags into the double pushchair isn't extreme is it?
DD2 not in school today so she can have the kitchen work surfaces to clear and clean before she goes out. OH can load the DW and mop and I'll kill myself vacuuming through downstairs and up the stairs.
Boss OH to make a cuppa and do food for these mini beasts... I'm spending the day knitting I think.. I need 80 of these.. and I have 29.. it is supposed to take 6 balls of yarn yet I am only getting 8 squares from each ball so there is no way that is going to work out!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Its mine and hubby's 10th wedding anniversary soon and I'm stuck for what to get him, he bought me a watch...any ideas a welcome xHave a Bsc Hons open degree from the Open University 2015 :j:D:eek::T0 -
I swear if I was to audition for Who Do You Think You Are? they will dig up some tramps in my family past - I've just been into DD's bedroom  I had an empty washing basket until I went in there - I now have at least 2 loads
I won't even mention glasses, plates and yoghurt pots!!!
Have had an hour in the garden this morning pulling up dead dandelions and long stemmed things with tiny white flowers on them - no idea what they are, but they are similar to elderflowers but with fern-like leaves. Anyway, they had to go as they are so tall I'm having difficulty seeing over them to get off the drive.
WM x 1, early lunch scoffed with a cuppa. Contemplating what to do next ...... 6 curtains to shorten and take up, beading to go on the side of the bath to cover a gap, 2 roses to dig into the garden, DD's curtain pole to go up. All the jobs involve going out to the shed to look for tools and I'm having a "humpf" moment.
And then there's this lot ......

Good morning (or afternoon) everyone.
Thanks for last week's list and please count me in again for this week.
Thanks.

OK so sports day, as in nursery dress up in sports gear. DS is fine he has football shorts and socks, and I've written his surname and the number 4 on the back of a plain white t in fabric paint. When dry I'll draw a little football on the chest.
But what about DD? I can't send her in her swimmies! I was thinking gymnatics but she doesn't have a leotard and anyway she'd never manage going to the toilet. She has a tutu - would ballet class as a sport?Bossymoo
Away with the fairies :beer:0 -
I reckon so, bossy - it raises your heart rate, increases your stamina, builds muscle and makes you lean. Any exercise that can do that is classed as sport in my book.
WM x 2 out on the line.
Found the spade - 2 rose trees dug in :j
Found the screwdriver - DD's curtain pole put up :j
Found the loppers - 2 trees cut back :j
Just found the scissors - 6 curtains are in danger!
