Just popping in to say thankyou for all kind thoughts. And to report that the dog bed is finished and looking good.

    See you all tomorrow.

    Hi everyone

I've been madly busy with work this week and also trying to do some revision for forthcoming exam so just keeping on top of dailies and a little more this week. However, Tuesday was a pretty exhausting day as SIL was in for his nasty surgery - renal denervation and I was to-ing and fro-ing to hospital with DD and minding the grandbabies. SIL came home the next day but is still very sore. We're going over tomorrow to go out for a meal so hoping he's a bit better, although it will be several weeks before the consultant will be able to say whether it has been successful and they can be reducing all his medication.

However, that's all quite straightforward compared with other news on here. I've skimmed through and positive vibes to Helen, Jazee and anyone else who needs them. Lots of "not so good" news around so good thoughts, get well wishes, and be strong everyone.

Today I decluttered a couple of bags to the charity shop and have a bag to go to DD tomorrow. I've done a few WM loads, although it's been so rainy off and on all day I've had to hang it in the wet room to dry. IYSWIM :o. I've also been stripping some of the paper from the kitchen ceiling. I'm hoping to do a bit more tomorrow before we go to Portishead as our table is booked fro 3.00 so loads of time in the morning.

Hugs, sticks and spoons - PRN. Good night and God bless. x

Thanks, dusty. I think that might be the way forward, as it would save money (in cleaning products) and time as well as my back. I'd probably have to invest in at least one spare cloth for it, as one is not likely to do all four rooms without a wash in between. A couple of the rooms will need doing on hands and knees first :o , but at least they're the smaller two.

I know that some fellow flyers on here use steam mops, but that would be a bigger investment and I'm worried that the laminate floor would get too wet. I have laminate in DR and DS2's room, linoleum in the kitchen and vinyl in the bathroom.

HHC (or 2) in living room, dining room, [STRIKE]DS2's room[/STRIKE], bathroom, kitchen done QHC in DR and kitchen, too
    hoover stairs and top/bottom landings
clear stuff to leave the house out of our bedroom
    food shopping
laundry x 5 3 washed - will peg them out in a minute and start on the rest
    homework with DS2
    [STRIKE]shower[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]research something for his window with DS2 (blinds?) [/STRIKE] research done, but he can't decide
[STRIKE] rummage through freezer for meal ingredients[/STRIKE] managed with what I found :D

Bossy, £7 for a drink! That's not very MSE.

Well flyladies, after a rough night I am sitting here wishing I could turn the clock back, as we all do from time to time, but rather than ruining this lovely thread, have decided to put all my thoughts in my DFW diary instead.

So my list in my quest to have as normal day as possible:

    Gym
    Hoover/sweep/mop through house
    Sweep driveway
    Put straw round the strawberries
    Walk dogs

    Catch you all later.

Morning ladies. The sun is shining in Essex I hope it lasts the day.

I need to wash my hard floors. I may invest in that mop Dusty.. However I badly need to buy some clothes so I might save that for when the insurance money comes through.

DS3 has a football tournament today near my mum's. DH has already taken him. I think it's barbaric having to be somewhere 30 minutes away at 8.30 on a Sunday morning. I might go over later but need a day at home after being out babysitting all day yesterday.

There is a bumble bee nest outside my bedroom window. I can't air the room without getting a room full of bees. I understand nests are short lived and I don't want to destroy them. It's a problem!

Hugs for Jazee and Helen , scumbag catching vibes for Valli's local police force.

    Morning all

(((Hugs))), Jazee. You're trying really hard to keep things as normal as possible - come and rant/cry on here whenever you need to, if it helps.

I'm going to pick up where I left off yesterday. DS2 and I will be off out once I've pegged the washing out. Wash No4 is on the airer inside and No5 currently in the washer. Only one more to go after that.

We're going to my friend's (to sort something for work - it's a need, not want), taking plastic rubbish to Mr A's on the way, calling at Lidl and Aldi, too, I think. Oh, and we need petrol.

Not sure when we'll be back, so I need to think about a quick tea, too. Got to think about the best route to fit everything in.

Hope everyone has a good Sunday.
