Sofa's both cleared and some more rubbish gone. Dirty washing gathered up and DD now up ready and fed. More filing done and i'm sure i'll find more as the day goes on. Dw unloaded and refilled.

Now to get DS3 ready and then DD's physio appointment.

Think i'll try and get stuff gathered up for a tip run, could take the lot in tomorrow morning after school run. :)

  • hello flyladies and flygents

so much for getting back on Fred Sunday night to rejoin for the new thread.....what day is it today? Wednesday? yes it is Wednesday......cripes, I need a TARDIS to swoop me up (preferably with David Tennant in it, the Dr might be a mature 900 years old, but Matt Smith is barely out of short trousers!) and take me back to Sunday night as I have done a few bits and bobs here in the Skint Pitz with the BD securely attached to my ankle.

Not had inclination to go to @rgos to get new frying pan set yet, had to go to Mr M's last night to get some food in, the only young Skint who was willing to come was DS and well DD4 doesn't get an option.

Freezer now has a bountiful supply of bread rolls at 9p a pack, numerous fresh veg soup mixes slung in too for 9p a bag, a couple of big bag of deli meat scraps for 99p each, but I had lots of cupboard stuff that had been whittled down to nothing so despite all my bargains I still choked up more than £100 in there last night.

Still, no more moaning, at least I have been able to declutter some fennel tea (to keep my milk up to pace with DD4 and her gannet-like ability to feed) and a proper brew (I used up the last of the Tea sachets that I commandeered from the Travelodge mid point last week sometime!)

Thank you for the sticks for BD, I will attempt to get it off my ankle this week before I drown in gibble.

Only had a quick skim round Fred, but Pigpen I must say, your knitted baby square is simply beautiful:) but please make sure you eat to keep those blood sugars off the floor - no good baby Piggers eating you alive if you are not feeding yourself (easier said than done I know ;))

Right, no more procrastinating, time to do a quick 15 mins of something before DD4 gives her lungs an airing!
The cold never bothered me anyway

    OFSTED arrive today!:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

School's displays seem to be full of spelling /grammar mistakes - I wonder if they will be noticed....
    yes, they will!:o

hello all *flings bag down, kicks off shoes and sits down with a :coffee:*

    Have been busy...

Got to meet colleague's hubby (finally) - needed the loo at hers (we've been report writing) she preceded me upstairs and asked him if he were decent - decent enough for me - wrapped in a towel post-shower. *swoon* Was introduced and got a kiss on the cheek (and he's very sporty; played for England;) honest!;)):D:cool::D;);););) at the weekend! They all know about my little treat at work, now! On a flying note, I walked into her beautiful home, admired it and said I was glad I didn't have to dust it!

Anyway frog scoffing in progress -

    passport application started
prescriptions collected from docs (- need them filling while DS's free prescription form is still valid and while my card is still valid - what a saving! Normally costs me £15.75 for one lot of HRT (because there are two tablets in some of the blisters:mad:)

    I've done something else but I can't remember what...:rotfl:

Dusty SO pleased the news was good
    Natty OUCHIE
    Piggers - comfort vibes
Lamewolf - likewise - I would come and vac for you if I were nearer. I wouldn't talk to you though;):rotfl:

Thanks for the threads Dusty and Natty
Oh - I'm here because I'm working a day for my colleague in July while she jets off to sunnier climes for a weekend of R&R one Friday. I'm writing reports, though *sigh*

Sorry if I have missed anything else - oh Ionafan - hope your move is stress free and your new home happy!
