I have been to pc world this morning and got myself one of those lovely acer aspire t671 machines. Unfortunately the power went off midway thru the install and now all i get is an error message telling me to click ok and restart - and then i get the same message again.

The lovely people at Acer customer serivces are closed for the bank holiday and their website doesnt give me any idea what to do (typing this on the laptop btw) - can anyone help?

just go back to PCworld and sat it's faulty and get another ??

What were you installing? Try booting in Safe Mode - tap F8 key a few times after BIOS screen appears.

FINALLY ..... sussed it with a bit of help from the f12 key and the vista upgrade cd - thanks guys (was about to box it and head back up the vvvv jammed A1 to pc world)
