Taxi Fares - poor maths and false advertising.

I would expect a fare based on that leaflet of £6.85.
I agree.
First mile = £3.00
Next 3.5 miles = 3.5 x £1.10 = £3.85
Total = £6.85
But even if it was £1.20 per mile after the 2nd mile ...
First mile = £3.00
Second mile = £1.10
Next 2.5 miles = 2.5 x £1.20 = £3.00
Total = £7.10
So not even £8.00 never mind £8.50.0 -
