can you let out whilst on benefits

i am my mothers carer and get income support and carers allowance,i am thinking about moving back in with her to make things easier,i own my own flat outright and was thinking of renting it out but since i am on benefits would this be worth the hassle and could i let to other benefit claimants,i currently claim council tax benefit also.

I think you have answered my question,by letting it out i would just get what i receive deducted from my benefits as i thought and also getting the taxman involved, it's too much hassle for me,thanks for the reply0
