I bought a steam mop from Asda on special offer but as i didnt have anything else to compare it against i thought it was ok .
I have borrowed a H2O X5 mop from my friend and what a difference< and price > I cant put it down it is so good for floors, bathrooms really anything you can steam its excellent.

I know Robert Dyas sells them and QVC sells them as well.
Must add it dows feel a bit flimsy when your steaming the floor but i havnt snapped it ..yet .0 -
I wouldn't bother. All mys steam cleaner does is move the dirt around, you still have to pick it up.
I have an expensive Italian one, too."If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0 -
I have a vax one the bottom bit is triangular, I really like it, cleans my floors quite well, I sweep them first with one of those rubber sweeping brushes or sometimes just hoover. The floor isn't exactly we afterwards either so I don't have to go around and dry it.0

I googled that mop imho as your link isn't to that cleaner.
Looks good, comparing it to the Karcher one that dh has decided is 'the best one'.Can't think of anything smart to put here...0 -
I also had the Vax Steam Bare Floor Pro but it was rubbish and went back in the end.
I didn't expect my floors to be shining and to be fair, they were clean and looked okay but not worth the ~£60 I spent. If it was £30, maybe at a push, but I decided they were not worth the money.0 -

But the reviews for the steamer i mentioned are really bad yet Which magazine said it was the best steamer. My friends one is black coloured and not the green colour that seem to be sold now.0 -
There was another thread about steam floor cleaners recently which discussed using them on tiled lino. Due to there being a possibility of the steam between the tiles causing the adhesive to soften and the lino tiles to lift, the OP decided to return the cleaner to ASDA.
Not sure whether the hot steam between wooden flooring panels may cause the wood to swell? Best to check with the manufacturer of the wood flooring. If my post hasn't helped you, then don't click the 'Thanks' button!0 -
Myser not sure if you have bought a steamer now but this a Karcher one refurbished on the Karcher outlet.
I think when i give my friend her steamer back i will get one of the Karchers as look more robust .
