Recommend a good toilet brush set

I've been using one of those disposable toilet brush pads for a few years but am disappointed with them. I want to go back to a traditional toilet brush so am after recommendations on good ones that actually clean the toilet bowl properly, including under the rim.
Everyone is entitled to my opinion!

I buy my toilet brushes at Wilkos 50p each, I have the holder, Then throw them away every month, scrub the holder, whatever you buy it`s not hygenic to keep it for long. Better to invest in better quality cleaner, Harpic with lime scale remover still remains the best to me.Do I need it or just want it.0

^^^ Me too, but from Asda at 55p inc holder and replace both monthly--- Warning: Grumpy Old Man in Training ---0

I have a nice one from BHS.
While it was only a few pounds, I rarely have to use them as some sort of plunger (is that what people use them as these days?).
Mine is to clean, so after I've poured bleach around the bowl, I give it a bit of a scrub round with the brush, then put it back in the holder. The remaining foamy bleach cleans the brush so it stays clean.
My last one lasted me two, three years at least.
Depends what you want.... nice strong handle, looking nice in the bathroom and possibly lasts for years? Or cheap, horrible looking, only good for a month versions?
Yes, people may say they only cost ~£6 a year, but if they aren't that bothered, then please pay me £6 a year for nothing.0 -
I also buya cheap one but also when I bleach loo I leave it in there for half hr with the bleach solution if it makes sense . As long as no one wants to use loo in that time lol0

I've just realised I'm still using the same toilet brush I bought over 20 years ago....."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

So, so right, I still can't believe there is anything such as a "toilet brush set"
If it's a fashion accessory then it's 1 I'll do without.:T:T:TI like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
