Complete Bathroom Refit and Decorate

Hi am a new poster here so apologies if another thread has already covered this.
I am planning on having my bathroom done. Which is not in great condition at the moment (plaster board behind shower and one wall is falling apart) also the valves to isolate the water to the bathroom are ceased so a contractor presumably would need to isolate the mains supply and drain down the tank each time).
Basically i want the following done (jotted down by a friend who is more in tune with such things)
· Remove and dispose of old cast iron bathroom suite (toilet, sink, shower unit and very heavy bath).
· Remove and dispose of old wall tiles and trims (approx 11m2)
· Dri line and seal one wall (approx 4m2) since old plasterboard is falling apart.
· Install two noggins and install aquaboard (approx 2m2) with pipework and plumbing and cables for fully recessed shower unit. Again old plasterboard is falling apart.
· Remove and isolate old radiator
· Install 7 isolator stop cocks for water to toilet, sink, bath and shower. Long winded since internal gate valves and stop cocks have ceased
· 18mm Marine ply floor (approx 4m2) and screw down at 30cm centres.
· Wall tile, trim and grout (approx 11m2)
· Floor tile and grout (approx 2.5m2)
· Install new suite (sink, toilet and bath with centre not end taps)
· Fit fully recessed Power Shower and RCD unit.
· Fit towel rail (valves on rail have a shorter distance between them than those from old radiator)
· Fit sundries (toilet roll holder, corner shelf unit, toothbrush holder, shower curtain rail)
· Build fitted cupboard under sink
· Trim and seal
I will supply the suite and tiles. Basically my work makes it hard to get a variety of people round to give a range of quotes so how much could i expect to pay in labour costs for the above? I live in the Southeast of England.
Any figures would be greatly appreciated especially if someone has had a similar job done.
Thanks

So basically you want a chippy, a sparks, a plumber and a tiler. You would be best off talking to a builder then.
My guess is ££££'s0 -
I would expect to pay in the region of £4 to £5k if you are supplying the suite and tiles.
Based on an example quote I was should at a showroom that was over a year old for all the bits and all the work. This quote came to £6.8kWe all evolve - get on with it0 -
I have just had a grotty shower room turned into a lovely wet room. I got the sink and toilet online from victoria plumb for £200 (lovely art deco one) and had everything else from a local bathroom company for £1550 - tiling, underfloor heating, shower, extractor...it is lovely. I am in Suffolk. I advise asking around for local recommendations. HTH. Jo0

could i ask how big is your bathroom, i mean, floor size and walls?0 -
We didn't. Our bathroom fitter had people working for him who could multi-task. Anything else ( plasterer), he just sub-contracted. That suited us as only one person responsible for job.
I just hope that the electrician was Part P qualified and gave you a certificate for the electrical work.;)0 -
Thanks to all, i now have a good idea how much to budget.0
