Carpet repair kit

hello
I have just fitted my first carpet, nearly perfect except for one slash with the stanley blade, oops.
does anyone know where i can get a repair kit which 'fuses' the joins together ??

Hi,
You can get some strong thread and stitch it together. I have a room that is 1" longer than standard carpet width (even with stretching), so I have done it a couple of times. Don't sew too close to the edge. I use that silvery cloth tape afterwards and its fine.0
