I got my redundancy overturned on appeal!

Just wanted to share - it can happen! I had been made redundant, whilst pregnant and my job was relocated to another location (with some modifications) which I said I was happy to relocate to. I was told it was not a suitable alternative (due to the modifications) and I had to apply alongside external candidates, which I did, and did not get it as they said other candidates were better.
At my appeal hearing I basically made it clear that I considered this pregnancy discrimination - the threat that I would take them to tribunal was there, but never voiced.
Next thing I know they have said that although they do not agree with my appeal point that the new role was a suitable alternative, they are offering me the role (despite the fact that it's already been filled) and overturning the redundancy.
I think my employers basically woke up to the fact that they'd have a nasty tribunal case on their hands, which they'd probably lose, and decided to give me the job after all to eliminate the risk.
So just goes to show - appeals can work, and it's a foolish employer who makes someone redundant whilst pregnant (if there are other options available)
