Cost for DPC injection + Guarantee?

Hiya guys & girls,
Just a quick one.
We are hoping to purchase our first house at the end of July but are having a few problems.
We had the property valued/surveyed and they recommended a Damp and Timber report. We had this done and they picked up on a few points and commented on the existing DPC Injection & its warranty.
Unfortunately the 30 year warranty runs out this month. The lender has stated unless they receive a new guarantee they will not let us get access to the retention.
The report stated there was no damp in the property, only a lack of guarantee.
Any ideas what the cheapest injection + guarantee will cost me to get access to my retention?
The property is a 2 bed terrace, so 2 walls facing outwards in Loughborough, Leicester. (The property has a cellar to the front)
Thanks :T

How much is the retention?
I had a similar problem when I bought my house although it was woodworm treatment. Much to my solicitor's amusement, I just let them keep the retention and found the money elsewhere.0 -
Unfortunately the retention is £5000, as it also includes other work such as rebuilding party walls in the loft and replacement of some timbers. They won't allow a partial retention claim either
If I can get the DPC injected for a few hundred £££ i'm sorted, just need to know what the average cost would be.0 -
If there's no damp it's madness paying for a DPC injection that almost certainly isn't required.... it's questionable that they're required ever let alone when there's no damp issues.
Lenders are hell bent on making people get these usually unnecessary treatments. If it were me I'd seriously challenge the lender about this.

Having seen the mess many injected DPC treatments cause and the weakening of bricks, I'd personally not want them doing it if it's already been done.
