Egg Loan Agreement shows £2,057 PPI but Egg say I've never had it?

Hi,
I had a loan taken back in 2001, but I cannot remember how I applied. I think I applied online - as I thought egg.com was ahead of its time being an online service - but was the PPI pre-ticked / opt-out / neight opt-in or opt-out pre-ticket?
What did you say in your complaint letter?I want to ensure I claim correctly.
I do have the paperwork agreement and PPI was paid (on an inital £8k loan and then a subsequent 'consolodation loan' a few years later - that being a £10k loan!
I just want to ensure I get the claim right; can you help!0
