should i appeal a parking ticket ?

hello, i have been given a parking ticket for not paying on a high street. the only option they gave was to pay by phone through text message. there was no cash option. this strikes me as rather unfair as i did not have a phone with me at that time.

do you think this is suitable grounds for appeal ? (i was only parked for 10 mins to enter a local grocery store accross the road)

i already wrote to the council explaining (a london one) and they rejected my claim. however they said i could appeal

You won't win on that argument but you should scan or take pics of every page (every side, even small print on the back) of every document. Post the pics in a new topic on pepipoo forum to see if their experts can see if you have any case based on the wording on the documents:
