Gesture of Goodwill??!!

Hi
Please help me! I sent off letter 1 on the 2nd April to Abbey, 4 weeks later received 1 years worth of bank statements. Two weeks later I received another 2 years worth [these were quite difficult to read]. A week later I received a letter saying due to the data protection act they can't send me any more bank statements as my addresses don’t match [bearing in mind I have been in three times to my bank to change them] anyway along with the letter and my cheque that they sent back to me was a change of address form which I sent this and my cheque back to them the same day recorded post. A week later I received a letter saying ' I can confirm that we have already processed your request. Please find your enclosed 10.00 cheque, which we are returning as a goodwill gesture due to the time elapsed'.
The thing is I have only received 3 years of bank statements, what shall I do now?!
Thanks

Write to them and tell them that they haven't complied with your SAR. There is still data outstanding and the clock is still ticking. If they don't comply with your request you'll make an official complaint to the Information Commissioner.
I'm sure I've seen a template for the letter somewhere either on MSE or on the CAG website.Hamsters have no tact and diplomacy, nor do they want any.0
