Genuine or compatible ink cartridges

I just bought an Epson xp605 printer Now need to buy ink previously used jet tec ink but there does not seem to be a compatible one as yet.
As some of you have stated used Epson ink whilst under guarantee as this would invalidates this. The ink is expensive but I am not printing to any great extent. Would appreciate advice and maybe another brand other than jet tec

Does the retailer of your previous jet tec stock other make inks for the 605

Could be worth going by the reputation of the retailer, on the basis that good ones will not want to be involved with things which do not work

That said, it is early days for these so expect to see varying prices and amounts of ink per cartridge

UKDVDR have compatibles but you will need to add postage, though they will change the cartridges in the unlikely event of them not working
