s75 claim - is it worth £100?

I ordered a table from Dwell on 6 January. It cost £109. 5 months later I'm still waiting for it to be delivered. I complained a couple of weeks ago about the delay and they gave me a discount so now the order details show it's only worth £96.
I've just read that this company might be going into administration so I'd need to make a s75 claim if they do. Would I be able to make a s75 claim or is the item now only worth £96? Wondering if I've just shot myself in the foot!
Tempted to cancel on Monday but then i may never get a refund. aaargh...

Did you actually pay the £109 originally? And if so, when they have reduced it to £96, did they send you a refund of £13?
If so, I reckon S75 would still apply. Your claim would be for the £96 that the company hasn't yet refunded you from the original £109.Optimists see a glass half full
Pessimists see a glass half empty
Engineers just see a glass twice the size it needed to be

No problem. The item price was still above £100. They have simply part compensated you for the delay. S75 still applies. (Assuming you've paid at least some of the original price on the CC.)0

Thanks both. I paid the whole £109 on credit card so that's good news. I'd still rather have the table but am not holding my breath!0

IMO you should initiate a chargeback - up to now S75 does not come into it.0
