Sat 8th/Sun 9th June - What small DFW things will you do this weekend?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free.
Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending .
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important:money:
Goooooood morning DFW-ers!
All is well in Sunny Salisbury today. Got the washing on the line nice and early and am now at work and working hard (honestly....
)
So far I have:-
- Checked banking
- Hung washing on line at 6.15am :eek:
- Emailed council tax people to inform them of me vacating rented property at the end of the month
- Large porridge breakfast from stores
- Washed up and cleaned bathroom due to new prospective tenants viewing house today
Still to do:-
- Lunch from stores
- Act on Mr T's list priced up online last night, can play "beat that quote"
- Treat of Mr T's cafe with DD, she had a random nose bleed last night and dealt with it very calmly and very well - so proud of her!
- Work until 2pm today for over time of £100
- [STRIKE]Submit commission claim to boss (payroll cut off Monday morning)[/STRIKE]
- DM looking after DD for free childcare (loves ya mum
)
- Drop DD off to her dads tonight, might stay at OH's and he can cook me dinner
- Sparkle!
As you can probably tell I'm in a GREAT mood today, yesterday MIL's solicitor said she wants to exchange and be done by Wednesday next week:j:j:j
Hope you all have a lovely day today as well
Jx
