Need recommendations for a detangling comb.

I am looking for a detangling comb that I can use on wet hair.

My hair gets quite tangled after washing & my hairdresser suggested I buy a comb which is designed for wet hair.

I do have a tangle teezer but it is no good when my hair is wet.

If anyone can recommend a comb it would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried using a crap load of conditioner and using a wide tooth comb while in the shower?
  • My hair doesn't take well to using loads of conditioner. It weighs it down too much and makes it look greasy.

I do have a wide tooth comb, but it's a very very cheap one so isn't really any good.

My hairdresser recommended a Tangle Teeser for my shoulder length wet hair. It's unbelievably good but not cheap.

If I use an ordinary brush I get loads of hair on the brush but with the Tangle Teeser there's just a few strands. I can't recommend it highly enough.

When I went to get the link I noticed the now do one specifically for wet hair. Might have to treat myself but will wait until there on 3 for 2.

OP said they have one but no good

Conditioner won't weigh your hair down or look greasy if you don't put it on the roots and rinse it properly.

This is the sort my daughter and I use (but bought from local chemist) and they are excellent.

Oops. In my rush to extol the virtues of the tangle teezer, I missed the fact that the OP has already tried one. I wonder if the aqua splash version would be any better? I'd be interested to hear from anybody that's tried one.

    I've been Money Tipped!

I have something quite similar and it really is superb.
  • To be honest I don't need a lot of conditioner. I have very fine hair and it does tangle easy.

It wouldn't matter how much conditioner I use, it still tangles up when wet. In fact, it easily tangles when dry aswell lol. That's why I use a tangle teezer when my hair is dry.
