I've just brought my husband a tottenham hotspur tour voucher for fathers day. As we're in Norfolk we shall be getting the train. But what I'm wondering is, is it possible to then get the train from white heart lane to the spurs training ground. I believe this is in Enfield about 15 minutes away (so google tells me
) if anyone knows the area can you tell me what my best options of transport are, bus, train walk etc.
Many thanks

i think the training ground is at bulls cross - enfield , you should be able to get the train from white hart lane and then get off at turkey st and then it's a mile walk , check it out on google maps , possibly have to change trains at edmonton green

There are engineering works on the 16th, but the trains are running every 30 minutes on the Enfield Town line:

It's a pretty area, with tons of garden centres if you get bored with the football
You'll need to cross the A10 if you do it on foot - not sure what bridges there are there now. A local tax firm is CMS up the road in Waltham Cross that I've used in the past - 01992 620380. "Save £12k in 2019" #120 - £100,699.57/£100,0000 -
Thank you tiglath. Yes I did notice the a10 on google maps so may well use the taxi you've recommended. And more then likey the garden centres as i know nothing about football, and nor do I want to :-))

Saver 88,
just a word of warning, you need to know there will be something to see at the training ground and that that the public will be allowed in before you head there. This is the close season when a lot of players are either on holiday or on tour. Many clubs are funny about letting people watch their players train at any time. If there is an open training session, fine, but I wouldn't assume so without checking first, especially as father's day is a Sunday when training usually only occurs as a punishment!
p.s. If you do like gardens you'll be very near to Capel Manor, which is well worth a visit.Just because somebody is certain doesn't mean they are right!0 -
Hi unsure,
Thanks for the advice but just taking him there so he can look. He's a tottenham fanatic so just seeing it will be great in his eyes. Not expecting anyone to be there but if we get a glimpse of someone through the gates it would be a bonus :-)
Shall defiently check it out, thank you. Will be nice to do something non football related for my own sanity :-)"sealed pot challenge" member 082 6-£450 7 £860 banked :staradmin :staradmin
