List of Recurring Payments

Hi
Does anyone know how you go about getting a list of recurring payments from your Bank? Basically those payments where you have authorised on your card a company to take regular (monthly, annual etc) payments on your card. It is separate from a Direct Debit or Standing Order.
I reccall Martin talking about this on his TV show a while back but cannot remember what he said.
I am in the process of leaving Santander and moving to First Direct. I've moved all Direct Debits and Standing Orders but my Santander account is still open just in case currently. I have just contacted Santander and asked for a list of recurring payments and they said they did not have that information. Is that right?
I wanted to find out so that I can ensure that I appropriately transfer all of these. I found out yesterday for example when in London that I did not transfer my Oystercard automatic top-up - quite embarassing when trying to get on the tube.
Grateful for any advise.
Thanks

No bank has a list of the recurring payments you authorised on your card.
You could go back over your statements and check what recurring payments you had, and tell Santander (in writing) that company xyz is no longer authorised to take money from your card.
Here is what Martin has to say about it: http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/banking/recurring-payments0 -
Thanks for your useful, prompt response.0
