How can I fix the black strip loosened from the body work of my Fiesta?
Hi folks
I have a 2002 Ford Fiesta and there is a black strip running on both sides of the body of the car - driver's side and passenger's side.
A bit of it has become detached from the body work of the car. What is the best way of fixing it back on?
Thank You.

there is this goo, I think tiger seal, it is a very sticky black goo. I have used it a few times to seal sun roofs, carpets, door trim etc0

Double sided rubber tape. Less than £5 from your local car spares shop.
Cut to size with a pair of scissors. Its the same stuff that sticks all the badges and trim to your car.
Simple to use and no mess.0 -

double sided sponge is useless on trim.
pop into unipart and ask for some high tack trim adhesive.0 -

Its the stuff we use on all cars that have had paintwork done and need trim and badges put on. Plus have been using it for the last 20 years. Without any issues.
No idea what you mean by spong, but what we use is about 2mm think super sticky rubber flexible strip on a roll.

If you ever need to get the trim off in the future, you can use a hair dryer to warm the tape and remove. Other stuff is more likely to take the paint off with it.0 -
